Calling all business owners in Leigh and surrounding areas: an exciting new BforB networking group is being launched locally later this month, offering a fortnightly opportunity to meet, make connections, give and receive referrals, and ultimately, to support growth.
The launch meeting takes place at The Greyhound Hotel, Sporting Lodge Inns, Leigh, on Friday, March 22nd, running from 6.45am to 9am, including breakfast. In traditional BforB style, all members and guests have an opportunity to give a one-minute pitch to promote their business, and there will be plenty of opportunities to network, swap business cards, learn from each other, and even win new clients.
“Networking is so important to any business, but especially start-ups, and the small to medium sector,” said Adam Vause from Express IT Group, and the driving force behind the launch of the new group. “This new business breakfast group is designed to introduce and connect people, support them, encourage one-to-one meetings, share each other’s experiences, and promote the virtues of referral marketing.
“Business for Breakfast is a fantastic networking format that works, it’s successful throughout the country, particularly in the North West, and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to be heading up this new group.”
Supporting Mr Vause with the launch is Linda Tonge, Express IT’s head of sales. She said “The good thing about BforB is that it’s structured but informal; it’s busy, lively, supportive, and there’s lots of knowledge and experience around the room, with so many people available to share advice and experience.
“What makes it so successful is that it’s held every other week, rather than weekly, and we know how difficult it is for busy people to commit themselves on a weekly basis.
“By joining the group, you get to know and trust fellow members, and by virtue of that, you become confident to refer them to people you know, and hopefully by doing that, you’re helping them build up their business, and they’ll do likewise for yours.”
The cost of attending the meeting is just £10, including breakfast. Anyone interested in attending the launch BforB meeting on March 22nd should contact Linda, via email: firstname.lastname@example.org, by calling her on 01942 604222, or by registering online: Book Here
Said Mr Vause: “I’m proud that Leigh has a vibrant and busy business community, there are some great people around and about, and I’m excited at the opportunity to bring lots of them together in the name of networking and making connections and generating new leads – business being done!”
