The continued growth of BforB continues, with the launch of another new group later this month, this time in Hull.

The driving force behind Hull BforB is local businesswoman Michelle Richardson, a Freelance PA around East Yorkshire, and an enthusiastic networker who already runs a BforB group in Beverley. Michelle’s first meeting in Hull takes place at The Holiday Inn in the Marina, on Wednesday, April 24th, running from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

“Hull is a vibrant, busy place to do business, there’s a great community and my aspiration is to bring people together and help them thrive and grow their businesses,” said Michelle. “Networking is so important to any business, but especially the small to medium sector and to start-ups.

“I grew my business through good networking; indeed, I’ve attended lots of different groups, but it was the BforB format that really impressed and suited, me, which is why I signed up to run the group in Beverley and start this one in Hull – it’s a fantastic networking format that works, is successful throughout East Yorkshire and around the country too and I’m really excited to be launching a new group in our city.

“BforB is structured, but with an informal air about it, designed to connect members of the business community in a lively and friendly environment, offer support, share each other’s experiences and knowledge and ultimately help people to be in a position to give referrals with confidence and receive them in return,” she said.

“Though BforB is ‘Business for Breakfast’, meetings around the country also take place mid-morning, lunchtime and afterwork – I’ve gone for the after-work option because many people enjoy the opportunity to wind down after a busy day, with like-minded people and that’s what they’ll be very welcome to do, when they attend our meeting.”
