Finding and keeping the right supply network is critical to business success.

For most businesses, the people in their supply network are their most important asset. As well as bringing a range of skills and abilities to deliver the job at hand, they create and innovate, and represent a business to others.

For a variety of reasons, finding good companies is getting more difficult.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Resourcing and Talent Planning Survey 2021 found that 45% of respondents believed that competition for well-qualified talent has increased over the previous year, while just 15% disagreed.

While nearly half (49%) of employers who attempted to recruit in house talents had difficulties attracting suitable candidates making recruitment expensive and time consuming process.

When you get it wrong, it can be difficult to undo without wider impact on the business. As a result, keeping good network of supply chain and supporting them to be committed and productive is more and more a source of competitive advantage.

The factors that make people want to stay with you are the same as those that make people want to come and work with you – so understanding and managing those factors is vital.

In a competitive market, are you sure you can identify and address supply chain needs so that they want to stay with your business? And in a way that is efficient and effective for both enterprise?

There are many ways that you can engage your network and supply chain leaders, and many ways you can attract prospective ones. But at the heart is an understanding of what your business’ values are and how they align with current and prospective market changes.

Networking can be strategically placed for your business. Always keep up to date with market pricing, market deals and movements to make well -informed decisions.
